Hispaania õhtu (Spanish Night) at the Organic Kitchen was pure delight.
The beautiful flamenco dancers opened the new Spanish Terrace in true style.

It's great when firms do unusual things together. Perhaps GoodKaarma is an interesting alternative space for team building (ugh, "team building"... ugh.. anyone got a better phrase?...). The Spanish Terrace at Saaremaa Organic Kitchen (Maheköök) is taking shape nicely. To extend a celebration of all things Spanish, and to set the mood for the terrace, upcoming events include a Flamenco Night! Come try stamping your heels! We've delicious organic Spanish olives, and Tapas & Rioja will naturally be on the menu too! A word with the chef, and maybe we can organize some Paella & Gazpacho! Mmmm... The Estonian Green Party chills after their Leisi meeting. The music, the hugs, the tasy organic food, the natural fibres, the aromatic essential oils (from GK organic soaps)... Saaremaa's friendly gathering of kindred Green spirits.
Saaremaa Maheköök took the grills on the road to this landmark Green Party event in Leisi (Fri 15th June 2007).
On the menu: juicy organic kebab-burgers with spinach/dill/yoghurt sauce!
And 100% organic blackcurrant ice cream (with organic wafer!)!
Saaremaa Maheköök (Saaremaa Organic Kitchen) is the first restaurant in Estonia to offer a comprehensive organic menu.
Our gift shop is situated in what used to be the barn. This room was renovated using reed wall-panels and a natural clay covering (which gives a gorgeous warm orange color).
We try to put local & Estonian artists, craftsmen & producers first.
Several items are made just for GoodKaarma and can only be found in our shop.
Items include: organic honey produced in Saaremaa, handmade color pencils, beeswax candles, felt jewelry, limited edition hand-pressed prints, shirts, healing energy pictures, wool & felt products, soaps (of course), glass jewelry, soap dishes (ceramic & glass), glass window hangings, and more.
This summer (2007) we finally got a phone line installed, so now we have card payment facilities.
We accept Euros & Estonian Kroons.

At Kuressaare Lossi (Bishop's castle) there is a great ceramics workshop.
Also a place selling locally made ironwork. And a glass artist. All together in one place.
They are located facing the Lossi in rooms built into the earth embankment.
Liispet, Lossi 17, Kuressaare, has some high quality woolens.
After 3 years of using internet cafes in Kuressaare for all our emailing needs (you can meet so many more interesting people when you make cafes your office, as opposed to actually renting one!...), we finally got the farmhouse hooked up with its own internet connection. Now the garden cafe sports our very own wifi/wLAN/ hotspot/ thingymajig. Marvelous! We're almost civilized! So bring your palm, your blackberry or your laptop, weary traveller, and revive your spirits with a cup of organic coffee while you check your favorite online paper for the news, or download directions to Kaali Meteorite Crater, or view today's menu at Saaremaa Organic Kitchen in Kuressaare... damn, this internet is a fine thing. Käsin valmistettuja saippuoita. Tule katsomaan miten teemme luomusaippuaa talomme keittiõssä. Tunnin kestävässä workshopin aikana näet kuinka teemme saippuaa “kylmämenetelmällä”: “Saippuatekemisen Salaisuudet” (ole hyvä tee varaus etukäteen).
